JEFF E. PERRIMAN Jeff E. Perriman (B.Ed.), after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away on November 6, 2001 at Victoria Hospice, at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Anita; sons, Martin and Trevor of Winnipeg, MB, Colin (Debra) and two grandsons, Fabian and Xavier of Cobble Hill, BC. He is also survived by three sisters, Jose (Bob) Borkett, Pauline (Bernard) Meehan of the United Kingdom and Doris Perriman of Toronto, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Phyllis. Jeff and Anita first came to Canada in 1951, residing in Winnipeg for many years and retiring to Victoria, BC in 1991. For many years Jeff taught at John Taylor Collegiate and Pierre Radisson Secondary School in Winnipeg, providing inspiration to many young minds. Jeff was always known as a humanitarian and actively advocated for the betterment of his fellow man. Jeff was a loving father and was devoted to his many "four-legged" friends. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all the staff at the Victoria Hospice for the loving tender care provided not only to Jeff but the entire family. Private family interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens. A celebration of Jeffs life will be held on November 17 at the family home between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. If friends so wish, the family would appreciate donations made in Jeffs memory to go to the Victoria Hospice Society, 1900 Fort St., Victoria, BC V8R 1J8 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 204 - 780 Tolmie Ave., Victoria, BC V8X 3W4.
